Ford F-150 Picks Up Honor from Green Car Journal

Here in Grand Forks, ND, trucks are king. That shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone, and here in the new Ford lineup you can find plenty of tough trucks, and even the efficient kind, too.

The Ford F-150 was recently named the 2016 Green Car of the Year by Green Car Journal. It earned the big award thanks to its 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine, which is able to produce 26 miles per gallon on the highway. The F-150 also sports a lightweight aluminum frame which gives it more fuel economy, while keeping its high towing and hauling numbers up, and remaining safe. In addition, there are many materials inside that have recycled parts, like the seats, which provide comfort, and eco-friendliness.

To see what we mean and take a test drive in the F-150, or any other Ford vehicle here at Lithia Ford Lincoln of Grand Forks, we'd be happy to answer any questions you might have, and arrange a test drive at your convenience.
